Theory
A framework for how people deliberately use their mindsets to navigate stress, challenge, and growth — built on three trainable processes: awareness, understanding, and intentional regulation.
Dissertation
A construct and measure, validated across seven studies. People who believe they can shift their own mindsets show greater resilience, well-being, and larger gains from interventions.
Intervention
I specialize in integrating mindset science with yoga-based training to help people build the skills to notice and regulate their mindsets. In my dissertation I tested a digital intervention combining mindset education, mindfulness, and yoga-based practice; in an RCT with law students, it improved stress mindsets, mindfulness, and well-being.
TEDx
My TEDx talk on how we can learn to recognize, understand, and intentionally shift the mindsets that shape our health and performance.
